Tips for getting a great property valuation

There are many myths and tricks on how to influence valuers to get a higher valuation. They have seen all of these and the best thing you can do is give them as much information as possible for them to do their job.

One thing that will help is if  you collate any comparble sales within the area within the last 3 months. These recent sales are often not recorded anywhere and hence the valuer would leave them out of their report. Record the address, the sale price, the settlement date, the real estate agent and their details and how this property compares to yours I am sure you will find this extra information will go along way in getting a good market appraisal of your property.
